Wrist Hand Series

All orthoses in the Wrist Hand series are comprised of a foam lined hypoallergenic linear polyethylene plastic with a padded dorsal tongue that enables them to provide both rigid cast-like protection and maximum comfort to the patient. They provide a significant advantage over casting, as they are highly adjustable, allowing them to properly compensate for edema. The brace composition is completely radiolucent. In addition to the traditional style, which incorporates hook and loop straps with the quick lock fastener system, all of the Wrist Hand orthoses, except for the Arthroscopic Traction Assist, are available in the streamlined, slotted S-Series™ version. They are easily customized utilizing a heat gun and scissors, as shown in the modification procedures. Each is provided with one presewn double-layer cotton stockinette. Additional stockinette and straps are available separately.
